Fran Duane, LCSW

Fran Duane completed her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington, graduating in 1993. She became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 1999, achieved certification of online instruction from Quality Matters, and recently finished an additional 18 graduate hours in psychology from Ashford University. 

She is currently in private practice in the Bryan-College Station area, where she also serves on the Bryan ISD School Board. Fran is on the Steering Committee for the Brazos Valley Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers, the Vice President of the Texas Democratic Women of the Brazos Valley, and a Legislative Volunteer with AARP, specializing in health care policy. She is a frequent guest speaker and lecturer for the TAMU Psychology Department, AAUW, TAMU University Women, and local caregiver organizations. She was recently appointed to the Texas House Bill 906 Collaborative Task Force on Public School Mental Health Services.
